On Wednesday 31 August,  our Living Free Project team had the pleasure of sharing an update with Emily Cormack from Equity Trustees.

It has been 11 months since the RM Ansett Trust, managed by Equity Trustees, started supporting the work of the Living Free Project along with the Victorian Legal Services Board Grants Program, The Ross Trust, Westpac Community Foundation, Federal Government and Peninsula Kingswood Community Foundation.

Through co-ordinating multiple funding sources, the Living Free Project is now able to support more young girls and women across the South who may have otherwise fallen through service gaps, develop group programs to meet identified needs both within schools and in the community, provide a platform for cross-sectoral collaboration to strengthen systemic responses and provide a voice of advocacy for improved access and gendered responsiveness.

We thank Emily for her support, encouragement and allowing us to share some of the ways in which our dynamic and diverse team has had an impact on the lives of the girls and their families.

We look forward to sharing the journey with her and the team at Equity Trustees over the next two years.
